Mad Macbeth is awarded First Place!

Last week, it was announced that Mad Macbeth, a student film production in which MYP film students (Years 7/8) and Inspired students (Year 7-9) worked on for the better part of this past year, has won FIRST PLACE in the ShakeMeUp  Student Film festival.  👏  This online international film festival is sponsored by the Prague Shakespeare Theater Company each year. There were three rounds of competitions, several categories (Playwright, Poet, and Shakespeare for All Time) and approximately 25 other countries in which we competed against. We are proud to have taken first place in Shakespeare the playwright. This was a first film production, and a first encounter with Shakespeare for many students. Thanks, ShakeMeUp, for the wonderful opportunity, and we’ll see you again next year!
